I’ve been drawn to beautiful stones for as long as I can remember.

As a little girl growing up in Colorado, I carried them around in a weathered toolbox—quartz, granite, pumice, the occasional sunstone—scrubbing each one with an old toothbrush and turning it over in my hands to watch the light move across its surface. My grandfather and great-uncle both worked Colorado’s gold and feldspar mines, but my own fascination began with simple curiosity: picking up beautiful things and looking at them a little longer than everyone else.

That quiet fascination stayed with me for years. It reignited one afternoon when my husband, Austin, took me to a small crystal shop tucked away in the Colorado mountains. I walked through the door and felt something awaken. From that moment, there was no going back.

Night after night, after our boys were asleep, I taught myself jewelry making - learning through patience, repetition, and thousands of carefully tied knots. Knot by knot, piece by piece, a style began to emerge—the way handwriting slowly becomes unmistakably your own.

In 2015, I opened ElyriesEmbers on Etsy. Since then, I’ve handcrafted an estimated 3,200 pieces, each one designed by me and built entirely by hand.

Today, every ElyriesEmbers creation reflects that same lifelong fascination with beauty and detail. I work with carefully selected gemstones chosen for their character, color, and brilliance, pairing them with meticulous hand-knotting, deliberate transitions, and balanced composition to create jewelry that feels effortless to wear and rewarding to examine up close.

Nothing is rushed. Every gradient is intentional. Every knot serves a purpose. Every design begins at my workbench and is crafted by my own hands from start to finish.

I don’t believe luxury comes from excess. I believe it comes from care — the quiet confidence of thoughtful design, patient craftsmanship, and materials chosen with intention.
