Meet "Elyrie" - Amanda Harras
Greetings, my beautiful friend! I’m Amanda Harras - the owner, founder, and sole artist behind ElyriesEmbers. I am the wife of the most amazing man in the universe and mom to three incredibly perfect boys. I call the beautiful state of Colorado my home.
My journey with crystals and jewelry-making began long before I realized it was even a path, and it has been a story of love, healing, and the pure joy of creation.
The Early Embers
From the moment I received my first jewelry-making-kit as a little girl, I was hooked. With my grandfather and great uncle as Colorado gold miners, the “rock-hound gene” runs deep in my blood.
As a child, I spent hours collecting beautiful stones from my driveway—quartz, granite, pumice, even the occasional sunstone—carefully cleaning them with an old toothbrush and marveling at their beauty. I loved bringing my rock collection around in a little toolbox with me, marveling at each stone.
Becoming an adult, I dismissed my rock collecting dedication as simply childhood play. This extraordinary spark lay in dormancy until…
A Spark Ignited
Fast forward a few decades, and my husband, Austin, took me to a small crystal shop in the Colorado mountains. It was a magnificent breath of oxygen blown onto my “ember” of rock collecting.
From here, my passion continued to grow. Another defining moment of inspiration occurred when I attempted to modify an old necklace I owned, into something more comfortable and fashionable. I was successful in the endeavor and the spark grew again, into a fire.
Evolution of Artistry
Elated, I began experimenting with different stones and crystals, learning different jewelry-making techniques and teaching myself from online tutorials. I worked late into the night after tucking my kids into bed. Slowly, I began to see my “style” taking shape, similar to becoming familiar with your own handwriting.
This creative discovery offered me a sense of peace and healing. It was pure magic, and every time I completed a new piece, I discovered a bit more of myself in the process.
A Brand is Born
It was my Austin's adamant encouragement that gave me the bravery to open my first little shop on Etsy in 2015. I knew the name of my shop nearly instantaneously… “ElyriesEmbers”, in honor of the ever-true ember that burned for so many years, even deep in it’s dormant form. The slogan I adopted was “Find the Beautiful” - a reminder and promise to myself to always search out and thus create beauty and light magic.
I still remember how overwhelming it was to open up my first shop. In the brand’s infancy, it felt quite difficult to craft the initial five pieces to create listings, my perfectionist traits strongly at play.
From My Hands to Ember-Souls... Worldwide
I experienced pure elation when my very first necklace sold. Today, my joy hasn’t faded one bit. Each time I see an order come in, I am humbled and reminded of this extraordinary gift - being able to share my creations with Ember-Souls all over the world.
Over the last decade, I estimate that I have created around 3,200 jewelry pieces. My handwriting-like style has continued to develop, with my signature designs becoming a unique blend of artisan jewelry creation techniques: micro-macrame, weaving, hand knotting, and wire-work.
From Crystals to Healing
In 2020, I received my certification as a Transpersonal Crystal Therapist, formalizing my years of working with crystals for energy healing and wellness.
With over two decades of experience in healing arts, I have come to understand how each crystal carries it’s own distinct energy and further - how these energies can be blended together to create different healing Talismans for unique purposes.
I have worked extensively with hundreds of stones, creating personal talismans for myself to better understand their capabilities, energetic properties, and synchronistic flow.

After nearly a decade in business, “Find the Beautiful” has proven itself to be a worthy brand statement, as my sole focus in jewelry making has become crafting luxury fine jewelry Talisman pieces.
